In this activity, students will choose three lifestyles they will focus on during the remainder of the course. By focusing on their top three lifestyles, they are starting to choose the direction they want to go, while beginning to think of the stops they want to make along the way.
Instruct students to utilize the self-assessments from Stage 1: Find Yourself (the Lifestyle Assessment), to reflect on which lifestyles they would like to focus on for the remainder of this course. Have them research their lifestyles using the information and videos on the Find Your Grind website.
Ask students to record and submit a reflection video on FlipGrid answering the following questions:
What are your top three lifestyles?
Why do you think you got these lifestyles? What characteristics about yourself align with these lifestyles?
Did any of your results surprise you? Why?
Have students complete the Lifestyles in Focus activity. They will complete a written reflection based on their assessment results and will find an image that they feel reflects who they are in order to create an Instagram-like post. For this post, ask your students to write a caption to the photo based on their lifestyles. This post functions as a snapshot of who they are!
