For this activity, students will be assigned a classmate to follow on social media. If they are assigned to someone they do not currently follow on Tik Tok,, Twitter, or Instagram, they will need to be added as their friend so you can see all applicable information.
Students will complete the questions on attached packet pages for each platform (labelled at the top of each page).
Students should have an investigator’s eye and a “stalker’s” focus as they search through their social media footprints. They should look for details in pictures, notice backgrounds, pay attention to T-shirts, etc.
Students should be looking at a classmates profiles in the eyes of a potential employer. This isn’t an opportunity for students to bash each others profiles, but to give an honest and respected perspective.
