Your students will embark on an investigative journey through Find Your Grind mentor profiles and videos, where they will test their new knowledge further by identifying the skills and talents exhibited or mentioned by their lifestyle mentors in their careers and lives.
Tell your students that this activity will be asking them to further apply what they have learned about skills and talents by diving into an investigation of mentors with lifestyles that match theirs and from the information presented, they will deduce what that specific mentor’s skills (both hard and soft) and talents are.
Assign the Mentor Investigation activity to your students and remind them that they have to watch eight videos and investigate the profiles of these mentors. From here, your students will document their findings, detailing the following for each mentor:
What the mentor’s skills are, both hard and soft.
What their talents are, whether this is mentioned by the mentor or suggested by the student.
How they think these skills and talents benefit the mentor in their career or industry.
