Find Your Grind kicked off the first of 10 college festivals at Florida State University, as Trippie Redd and DaniLeigh performed for a massive crowd.
Find Your Grind celebrated a major milestone last week with the first of our FYG U Music + Tech Festivals. And Florida State University made us proud with a turnout of over 3,000 strong. (You can see them in full force in the photos below!)
The inaugural FYG U Fest was a full day of:
- Live music from Trippie Redd, DaniLeigh, Half the Animal, and Malachi
- An onsite esports tournament and student talent showcase
- Illuminating discussions of tech and entertainment from the UMusic X FYG speaker series
And most importantly, it was free and open to all college students (something student after student told FYG they couldn't believe). Of course, this wouldn't be possible without the generous sponsorship of our partner in Universal Music Group and our festival producers Big Noise Live. Finally, we're presented by Prime Student.
Since this past week's festival was only our first, look for new additions at future events. For one, come say "hello" at our version of a Genius Bar as we walk you through our brand new Find Your Grind app. Over 500 FSU students downloaded it, and the response was incredibly positive. Explore the app now to view festival schedules, maps, and learn about forthcoming FYG U dates.
But for now — we'll see you at Texas State on April 27 and the University of Oregon on May 11. Keep an eye out for the announcement of additional festivals coming to a campus near you in the fall.
