Client Relationship Manager
Client relationship managers help customers and businesses understand each other better on the ground level. They can work in marketing, advertising, or even public relations. They are connectors, analyzers and competitors that can assuage any concerns a customer might have about a product or service, building confidence in their business’s overall performance.
Their main responsibility is constantly identifying opportunities to grow the customer base and building positive relationships with both current and new clients. The tasks they usually handle vary from answering emails and phone calls about products, following-up with previous customers, and responding to reviews online. They are sales-oriented but also perceptive to the needs of the consumers. They are able to interpret and transform number trends into real-life relationships that improve a brand’s connection with their consumer.
Client relationship managers typically need a bachelor’s degree in communications, business, English, or public relations plus 2-5 years of experience in the field. Jobs for this role are expected to grow 5% by 2028.
