Esports Attorney

There’s nothing utterly specific about being a lawyer in the esports field that separates it from other branches of entertainment law, other than the fact that five years ago, no one knew what the phrase “esports lawyer” meant. Because the industry is so new, attorneys working in it need to understand the evolving landscape in which they’re helping to uphold rules and standards. An esports lawyer will be concerned with intellectual property, employment and contract law as they work to professionalize and maintain fairness in the industry.
