Full Stack Developer
Full stack developers develop websites using both front-end and back-end coding. They are the creators, analyzers and organizers responsible for all the aspects of programming and development that ensure our mobile applications and websites are both presentable and functional.
They test and review their own programs in an effort to curate a seamless experience so that we can continue to have a more technologically connected world. Full stack developers are problem-solvers that are unafraid to fail and try again multiple times. They are masters of strategy and development with a knack for fixing technical issues just as fluidly as they can picture what the consumer needs.
Many employers require full stack developers to have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or programming, plus a high level of knowledge in different programming languages such as Java and C++. Certification in Agile, a software development methodology based on iteration and evolution, can also be an asset. Jobs for this role are expected to grow 13% by 2028.
