Human resources specialists directly facilitate and organize the recruitment and placement of a company’s employees. They handle a variety of tasks such as recruiting prospective hires, screening resumes, assessing conflicts between team members, and facilitating information regarding payroll and insurance benefits. They are contributors and connectors whose role is integral to maintaining an efficient work environment.
To become a human resources specialist, an educational background in management or business is the best place to start. Many companies will also expect a master’s degree in the field for advanced positions. Human resources specialist roles are expected to grow 7% by 2029.
