Music Manager
Music managers guide and foster the careers of bands, artists, and producers in the entertainment industry. They help set up tours, interviews, record deals, and more for the artists they represent. Their job is to secure the best work for their clients.
The job includes negotiating contracts/fees, finding and booking events and venues, publicity and promotion, helping them on career decisions such as which record producer to work with, or which songs to perform, and managing media relations on their behalf. The music manager’s work is very competitive and can be intense and sometimes stressful with long hours. Most music managers advance by building a strong reputation for good client services.
With the right attitude and the right work ethic, you can do anything.
