Sports Agent
A Sports Agent’s priority is to recruit athletes and help them negotiate contracts with a sports team, land lucrative brand sponsorships, and maximize career opportunities. They also facilitate press conferences and coordinate media to provide great press exposure for their athletes. Sports Agents oversee all athlete’s contracts so they will need strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong sports knowledge to ensure athletes are being compensated competitively. Your career may begin with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or Business Administration. Jobs as agents are projected to grow 3% for the decade ending in 2026.
