Video Game Designer
The video gaming industry has experienced tremendous growth for the past decade, with no signs of slowing down. Video game designers create these complex and creative online worlds for people to play in. Their scope of work includes story development, art direction, character concepts, and play instruction. Often, the skill sets for designing video games can translate into other mediums, such as film animation. Major tech companies such as Electronic Arts, Sony, and Microsoft all develop video games.
The manager told me, “we’re not hiring” and I’d say “well when are you hiring?” That was my attitude, I was just going to keep trying.
