What You’ll Do…

  • Manage the logistics, calendar, and preparation for FYG’s events, such as trade shows, conferences, and seminars:
    • Understand the needs of different event types and provide recommendations on how to best support them
    • Act as the first point of contact for event inquiries and requests
    • Recruit and prepare teammates to participate in events by conducting pre-event training, securing credentials, and supporting them with required collateral
    • Coordinate all aspects of FYG’s event presence, including client meetups, workshops, supplementary materials, and booth set-up
    • Ensure event budgets are maintained when planning specifications and experiences
    • Manage and oversee events on the event day, including set-up, problem-solving, organizing vendors, and take-downs
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective pre-event communications and post-event follow-ups
    • Ensure our presence at events is on-brand and on track to deliver a positive ROI for the company
    • Lead post-event initiatives (e.g. participant surveys) to measure effectiveness and ROI, report insights, and determine how to improve planning and participation
    • Track invoices and follow up with vendors and other contacts
  • Manage the content, communication, and calendar to engage and build Find Your Grind’s online communities on multiple platforms:
    • Plan social media content and maintain content calendar
    • Draft and post content to all relevant social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
    • Coordinate with other departments to generate content and ensure consistency of messages across all platforms
    • Support campaigns by creating engaging content that aligns with the company’s marketing strategy and key messages
    • Identify and follow influencers in the industry to expand reach and brand awareness
    • Create and maintain strategies to increase followers, likes, and interactions with our key customer audiences
    • Effectively use social media marketing tools such as Tweetdeck and Hootsuite
    • Measure campaign success and analyze social media growth and impact
    • Respond to client and follower requests and questions in a timely manner

What We’re Looking For…

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Passion for authentically engaging with people through online and offline channels
  • Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest
  • Results driven, with the ability to meet deadlines and critically analyze results
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Critical thinker with superior problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for testing and improving processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Resourceful and eager to learn quickly in a changing environment
  • Outcome-focused, with the ability to visualize and analyze results in order to ensure continuous improvement across our entire business
  • Experience with social media monitoring systems and Google Analytics is an asset
  • Basic understanding of SEO is an asset
  • Ability to travel to participate at annual conferences and events.
