Where You’ll Be

At Find Your Grind we’re a fully remote and distributed team. This remote role is based in the US and requires fluent English for interaction with users.

Architect Engaging Learning Journeys at Find Your Grind

At Find Your Grind, we’re revolutionizing learning experiences for students. As a Learning Experience Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how Gen Z learners engage with our platform.

This goes beyond content creation. You’ll craft dynamic learning journeys, leveraging the power of digital media. Design interactive elements, captivating visuals, and multimedia experiences that transform concepts into unforgettable adventures!

Working collaboratively, you’ll ensure curriculum understanding by aligning these experiences with learning objectives and catering to diverse learning styles. Your expertise (or interest!) in career readiness, careers, mentorships, lifestyle, and social-emotional learning will be instrumental in creating insightful experiences that empower students.

Digital Media Management 

  • Video whiz: You’ll work with the Director of Learning & Curriculum and other stakeholders to manage video content and upload it effectively to the CMS.
  • Maintains order: You’ll partner with stakeholders to keep metadata and taxonomy guidelines up-to-date, promoting consistency for analysis and common standards.
  • Becomes a digital asset guru: You’ll be responsible for inputting, cataloging, and managing all assets within the CMS, from text and video to images and icons.
  • Tackles technical challenges: You’ll respond promptly to IT and QA bugs, reviews, and requirements to keep things running smoothly (along with your learning teammates).
  • Masters the CMS: You’ll develop the skills to manage all digital assets – archives, files, photos, videos, etc. – ensuring efficient file naming and storage practices.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Thrives in collaboration: You’ll work hand-in-hand with stakeholders to define project timelines, needs, and input pace to hit deadlines consistently.
  • Partners in learning: You’ll collaborate with the Director of Learning & Curriculum to create, edit, and manage written and video content, select images, and revamp outdated learning materials.
  • Champions best practices: You’ll collaborate across teams to document, maintain, refine, and propose digital management system standards, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Team player: You’re always willing to lend a hand and support the team with any additional tasks that come our way.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development,  or a related field.
  • A genuine interest in the field of education and a desire to make a positive impact on learners.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. The ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise, and engaging content for a Gen Z audience.
  • The ability to approach challenges with innovative ideas and find creative solutions.
  • A basic understanding of design principles and the ability to translate complex concepts into visually appealing experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the Learning Team and other departments.
  • Experience in managing curriculum development processes.
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfort and ease with using digital tools and learning platforms (e.g., uploading, editing, tagging, and storing digital assets including text, images, video, audio).

Optional, but highly regarded:

  • Experience in creating learning materials for online platforms.
  • Subject-matter expertise in career-readiness, careers, mentorships, lifestyle, or social-emotional learning.
  • Experience working with diverse learners.
  • Assessment development skills.
