Find Your Grind: Availability in Spanish

We know how important a future ready mindset will be for career and life success so why should it be limited to English speakers?

Being “future ready” refers to the ability of students to develop the skills, knowledge, and mindset necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing and increasingly complex world. However, this complex world includes diverse cultures, languages, and backgrounds. The United States encompasses an important Hispanic, Latino and Latinx population who may or may not always have access to EdTech tools in their native language.

In fact, according to the National Center for Education Statistics, as of the 2020-2021 school year, Spanish was the most commonly spoken language other than English among public school students. Over 5 million students identified as English learners, and the majority of them spoke Spanish as their primary language. This demographic shift underscores the importance of catering to the linguistic needs of this growing population. This and other reasons below are why we’ve put the effort into ensuring our program is accessible to Spanish-speaking students.

Inclusion and Equality at the Forefront

Having a Spanish version of Find Your Grind is a powerful step toward promoting equity and inclusion in education. It addresses the diverse needs of students and ensures that language barriers do not become obstacles to learning. If we are going to truly prepare the next generation to be equipped to thrive in the fast-evolving world, we need to expand access to valuable educational resources like Find Your Grind. Unequal access continues to reproduce systemic inequality and thus puts linguistically diverse students at a significant academic disadvantage. We know how important a future ready mindset will be for career and life success so why should it be limited to only English speakers?

Unlocking a World of Opportunities

Offering a Spanish version of Find Your Grind will also unlock a world of educational opportunities. Spanish speakers will be able to engage with our future-proofing curriculum that allows students to develop greater self-awareness, discover future-proofing skills, gain exposure to careers and industries, and begin the process of designing their ideal lifestyle.

With over 350 career and mentor activities at students’ fingertips, we provide an avenue for learners to explore the myriad of career possibilities that motivate students to dream. We continue to hear that students are often only exposed to certain jobs. Thus, they have trouble imagining career possibilities other than what they know. However, Find Your Grind matches their personality with various life possibilities so that students are aware of all alternatives which align with who they are. Now students will be able to grasp these exciting ideas in their preferred language without being hampered by linguistic barriers.

Parental Engagement and Support

It’s not just students who benefit from Find Your Grind in Spanish; parents, too, can play a more active role in their child’s education when resources are available in their native language. When parents can understand the materials their children are studying, they are more likely to provide meaningful support, guidance, and encouragement. This synergy between home and school ultimately enhances the learning experience and strengthens family-school partnerships.

EdTech products with Spanish language options address the needs of a growing population of Spanish speakers. Offering Find Your Grind in Spanish ensures more students will be future ready and positioned to succeed in a world where change is the only constant. By embracing linguistic diversity and fostering the knowledge needed to seize opportunities and tackle challenges in students’ native language, Find Your Grind will ensure that all students, regardless of their language proficiency, can fully engage in the educational experience to reach their full potential.

We understand the importance of nurturing the potential within each student, and we’re excited to explore how Find Your Grind in Spanish can seamlessly integrate into your educational vision. Let’s work together to empower our students for a future filled with endless possibilities.
