Find Your Grind Introduces Engaging & Motivating Summative Assessments
… while also providing benchmarks to educators!
Learning outcomes just got reinforcements!
Summative assessments have arrived, but in true Find Your Grind style. Every unit is now equipped with a Summative Assessment badge that will motivate students to achieve, while they demonstrate their competence along the way!
These new assessments provide educators with a unit benchmark that can be easily seen on the Unit Student Summary as shown in the image below.
And of course, we have built the summative assessments so that every question is tied to a learning outcome, reinforcing the core components of the Find Your Grind approach.
Oh, and did we mention that the students will like them too. This isn’t just another test!
Engaging Students and Promoting Agency
With built-in flexibility and motivating students to be their own agents of change, they will be given the option to retake any assessment. Students can also see assessment feedback immediately, enabling them to be inquisitive about the topics that they didn’t get quite right, and then providing them with a path to apply their learning immediately.
Transparency and Flexibility for Educators
While promoting growth opportunities for students, our system retains a record of every summative assessment attempt, per student, so that educators can easily use these grades as they see fit.
Summing It Up
Find Your Grind’s framework for outcomes-based learning drives the learning of content and its impact through experiences and self-reflection. It is designed to help guide learners to create opportunities for themselves in their lives and in the world of work. Our curriculum engages learners by providing relevance through self-discovery concepts and career exploration and now provides even more comprehensive coverage with summative data to reinforce it.
