TechCrunch: Find Your Grind Secures $5 Million Series A to Scale Its Future-Ready Platform
From a recording studio in L.A. to the classroom of tomorrow—our next chapter begins.
When we started Find Your Grind, it was born out of my time in a Los Angeles recording studio—bringing students through, showing them not just how music worked, but how careers worked, how identity matters, and how the future of work isn’t what it used to be. Today, I’m thrilled to share that we’re stepping into the next chapter. We’ve raised $5 million in Series A funding, led by Echo Investment Capital with support from Newport Beach based family office, Gross Labs. This brings our total raise to $8 million—and more importantly, it accelerates our mission to empower young people to explore modern careers, build confident identities, and step boldly into the future.
Why This Matters
Because the world of work has changed. Many students are leaving school without a clear sense of who they are or how to step into what’s next. Traditional career paths are shifting—and entire jobs are vanishing by 2030, according to global labor-market research.
Find Your Grind solves this by taking a different approach. We start with identity: strengths, values, lifestyle preferences. Then we open students up to career pathways rarely seen in classrooms—creator economy roles, esports, media-tech innovation, lifestyle-driven functions like entertainment, content, and experience design. This round will allow us to deepen our curriculum, expand our AI-powered tools, and reach more students across the U.S.
