Find Your Grind: Availability in Spanish
We know how important a future ready mindset will be for career and life success so why should it be limited to English speakers?
Being “future ready” refers to the ability of students to develop the skills, knowledge, and mindset necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing and increasingly complex world. However, this complex world includes diverse cultures, languages, and backgrounds. The United States encompasses an important Hispanic, Latino and Latinx population who may or may not always have access to EdTech tools in their native language.
In fact, according to the National Center for Education Statistics, as of the 2020-2021 school year, Spanish was the most commonly spoken language other than English among public school students. Over 5 million students identified as English learners, and the majority of them spoke Spanish as their primary language. This demographic shift underscores the importance of catering to the linguistic needs of this growing population. This and other reasons below are why we’ve put the effort into ensuring our program is accessible to Spanish-speaking students.

With over 350 career and mentor activities at students’ fingertips, we provide an avenue for learners to explore the myriad of career possibilities that motivate students to dream. We continue to hear that students are often only exposed to certain jobs. Thus, they have trouble imagining career possibilities other than what they know. However, Find Your Grind matches their personality with various life possibilities so that students are aware of all alternatives which align with who they are. Now students will be able to grasp these exciting ideas in their preferred language without being hampered by linguistic barriers.
Parental Engagement and Support
It’s not just students who benefit from Find Your Grind in Spanish; parents, too, can play a more active role in their child’s education when resources are available in their native language. When parents can understand the materials their children are studying, they are more likely to provide meaningful support, guidance, and encouragement. This synergy between home and school ultimately enhances the learning experience and strengthens family-school partnerships.
