Lifestyle First: Understanding the Explorer lifestyle
The world is fast-changing, so let’s shift away from a traditional mindset of life + work.
Our curriculum, rooted in Social Emotional Learning and reflective practice, helps learners develop greater awareness, gain exposure to careers and industries, and begin the process of designing their ideal lifestyle.
The Find Your Grind curriculum focuses on shifting the traditional mindset.
We’ve been taught to think of the job we want, acquire those strengths, then somehow fit in our lifestyle around that job.
Instead of answering the question, “what do you want to do when you grow up?” Let’s start answering the question “who do you want to be?”
This mindset shift all starts with Flipping the Funnel and getting to know yourself—what lifestyle you want to live, what strengths you have, and what job matches both.
The Explorer Lifestyle
Learn how Explorers embody passion, spontaneity, and curiosity in their pursuit of adventure, what’s new, and lifelong learning.
Explorers have big dreams and a wild imagination. They are driven to carve their own path along their quest for new experiences. Explorers enjoy being on the leading edge. They are passionate about learning and experiencing other cultures, traveling to new places, checking out new technology, trying out fashion trends, and eating at the new restaurant in town. Explorers take pride in new discoveries and sharing the latest and greatest thing with their loved ones and friends. Their commitment to lifelong learning and discovering the unknown allows them to quickly acquire new skills.
Explorers are fearless and will try anything once. They resist stagnation, or sitting still, and feel most content when they feed their desire to explore the world. Explorers trust their instincts, and set out to conquer the unknown!
